Do you know who you are?

Today many live with an identity crises! We hear of Identity theft. Let us consider whether or not we may have been RIPPED OFF! What or who determines who we are? What is our worth and value? What is our purpose and destiny? Every person thinks on these things.



We read of that which is true, 1 John 5:20 And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us understanding so that we may know Him who is true ; and we are in Him who is true , in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life. Then that which is deception in Rev 12:9 "_ _the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world_ _" NASU. So we have truth (reality, an indisputable, established fact) and deception (that which appears or seems to be true, but in fact is a lie). May our loving Father show us where we are deceived and where we are living in union truth with him.



We must learn to the practice of thinking truth as in 2 Cor 10:5 "_ _ destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ _ _"

It does not matter what we think or what others may think, unless it lines up with God's eternal Word. We determine what we think. It doesn't matter what we may feel about ourselves, if those feelings contradict the eternal truth of what God says about us. What matters is what our loving heavenly Father has already accomplished and who he has made us "IN Christ".



His word is true about you and in you. Our actions and living may not be representing the truth of who God says he has made us. The truth of our identity, source and destiny begins to effect our daily living, health, emotional wholeness, priorities, plans, words and relationships once we begin agreeing with Father God and by faith believing what he says. Our past experiences do not dictate who we are or how we shall live in the future.



Here is the truth of who we are according to God. May we pray, meditate, shout, internalize, thank Christ, praise, memorize, stimulate one another and immerse ourselves in the wonderful truth of who we are in Christ.



Father, we choose not to question or doubt who you say you have made us in Christ. We choose to believe you and live out of Christ; who is our very life. Holy Spirit we will heed you , as you lead us in all truth.



The Truth and Authority of Who I Am, In Christ





I am the salt of the earth (Matt. 5:13)

I am the light of the world (Matt 5:14)

I am a child of God (John 1:12)

I am part of the true vine, a channel of Christ's life (John 15:1,5)

I am Christ's friend (John 15:15)

I am chosen, enabled, appointed by Christ to bear His fruit (John 15:16)

I am loved of Father God even as he loves Christ (John 17:23)

I have been crucified already with Christ, am already free from sin,

buried, raised and seated with him (Rom.6:1-14)

I am a slave of righteousness, enslaved to God (Rom. 6:18-22)

I am a son of God; he is my Abba Father (Rom. 8:14, 15; Gal. 3:26; 4:6)

I am a joint heir with Christ, sharing all His inheritance (Rom. 8:17)

I am a temple, dwelling place, of God. (1 Cor. 3:16; 6:19) Christ as life-

I am complete in Christ, having all the fullness of God (Col. 2:9,10)

I am joined to the Lord and one spirit with Him (1 Cor. 6:17)

I am a member of Christ's Body (1 Cor. 12:27; Eph. 5:30)

I am a new creation (2 Cor. 5:17)

I am reconciled to God a minister of reconciliation (2 Cor. 5:18, 19)

I am a son of God and one in Christ (Gal. 3:26,28)

I am an heir of God since I am a son of God (Gal. 4:6,7)

I am a saint (Eph. 1:1; 1 Cor. 1:2; Phil. 1:1; Col. 1:2)

I am God's workmanship, new in Christ to do His work (Eph. 2:10)

I am a fellow citizen with the rest of God's family (Eph. 2:19)

I am a prisoner of Christ (Eph. 3:1; 4:1)

I am righteous and holy (Eph 4:24)

I am a citizen of Heaven, seated in Heaven now (Phil. 3:20; Eph. 2:6)

I am hidden with Christ in God (Col. 3:3)

I am an _expression of the life of Christ because He is my life (Col. 3:4)

I am chosen of God, holy and dearly loved (Col. 3:12; 1 Thess. 1:4)

I am a son of light and not of darkness (1 Thess. 5:5)

I am a holy partaker of a heavenly calling (Heb. 3:1)

I am a partaker of Christ; I share in His literal life daily (Heb. 3:14)

I am a living stone, w/ others in Christ as a spiritual house (1 Pet. 2:5)

I am a member of a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a

people for God's own possession (1 Pet. 2:9, 10)

I am an alien, to this world where I temporarily live (1 Pet. 2:11)

I am an enemy of the devil (1 Pet. 5:8)

I will resemble Christ when He returns (1 John 3:1, 2)

I am born of God, and the evil one cannot touch me (1 John 5:18)



I am Redeemed (Rev 5:9)

I am bought with a price, not belonging to myself (1 Cor 6:20)

I am Blood bought (1 Pet 1:19, Rev 5:9)

I am provided for by God, as I seek his kingdom first (Mt 10:31)

I am one in whom God has an inheritance (Eph 1:18)

I am reconciled to God (2 Cor 5:18)

I am made clean (Jn 13:10)

I am saved by the Gospel (1 Cor 15:2)

I am born again of incorruptible seed (1 Peter 1:23)

I am a new creation (2 Cor 5:17)

I am of God (1 Jn 4:4)

I am Christ's possession (1 Cor 3:23)

I am in Christ Jesus (1 Corinthians 1:30)

I am complete in Him (Col 2:10)

I am free from the control of man (1 Cor 9:19)

I am free from the law of sin and death (Romans 8:2)

I am free from the curse of the law (Galatians 3:13)

I am free indeed (John 8:32-36)

I am called according to His purpose (Rom 8:30)

I am called into the fellowship of His Son (1 Cor 1:9)

I am called to peace (1 Cor 7:15)

I am called to liberty (Gal 5:13)

I am called to His eternal glory (1 Peter 5:10)

I am God's field (1 Cor 3:9)

I am God's building (1 Cor 3:9)

I am one in whom the word of God abides (1 John 2:14)

I am the Friend of God (Jn 15:15)

I am a citizen with all the saints in the Kingdom of God (Eph 2:19)

I am a stranger to this world, a pilgrim just passing through (Heb 11:13)

I am the temple of the Lord and the Holy Spirit dwells within me (1 Cor

I am a witness (1 Thess 2:10)

I am part of a chosen generation (1 Peter 2:9)

I am a member of a royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9)

I am a citizen of a holy nation (1 Peter 2:9)

I am one of His own special people (1 Peter 2:9)

I am Abraham's seed (Galatians 3:29)

I am an heir by the promises made to Abraham. (Galatians 3:29)

I am an heir of God a joint heir with Jesus Christ (Gal 4:7)

I am member of the household of God (Eph 2:19)

I am one who has been freely given all things through Christ (Rom

I am rich in Him (Romans 8:32, Rev 2:9)

I am one who loves (Gal 5:22, 1 John 4:16)

I am one who has joy (Gal 5:22, John 15:11)

I am one who has peace (Gal 5:22, John 14:27)

I am one who has patience (Gal 5:22)

I am one who has kindness (Gal 5:22)

I am one who has goodness (Gal 5:22)

I am one who has faith (Gal 5:22)

I am one who has gentleness (Gal 5:23)

I am one who has self-control (Gal 5:23)

I am one who has all the fruit of the Spirit (Gal 5:22,23)

I am one who has overcome the wicked one (1 John 2:14)

I am one who has overcome the world (1 John 4:4, 5:4)

I am strong in the Lord (1 John 2:14)

I am endued with power from on high (Luke 24:49)

I am one who can do all things through Christ who strengthens me

I am one with those God always leads in triumph in Christ (2 Cor 2:14)

I am one with those God gives victory through Jesus Christ (1 Cor

15:57)

I am one who has within him the One who is greater than he that is in

the world. (1 Jn 4:4)

I am one who treads upon the lion, the cobra, and the serpent (Ps

91:13)

I am one who runs through a troop and leaps over a wall (Ps 18:29)

I am a soldier of Christ (2 Tim 2:3-4)

I am more than a conqueror (Rom 8:37)

I am armed with weapons that are mighty through God (2 Cor 10:5)

I am able to pull down strongholds (2 Cor 10:5)

I am able to cast down imaginations and every high lofty thing that

exalts itself against the knowledge of God (2 Cor 10:5)

I am able to bring into captivity every thought (2 Cor 10:5)

I am one who has the mind of Christ (1 Cor 2:16)

I am not my own (1 Cor 6:19)

I am never alone (John 8:16, 16:32)

I am not of this world (John 15:9)

I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ (Rom 1:16)

So I am not ashamed of who I am (2 Tim 1:12) God is faithful.



No wonder the Devil tries to deceive us. Since these things are already true (by God's grace) of we who have trusted Christ; it behooves us to agree with our Father and increase our living by faith.



1 Cor 2:12-16 And God has actually given us his Spirit (not the world's spirit) so we can know the wonderful things God has freely given us. 13 When we tell you this, we do not use words of human wisdom. We speak words given to us by the Spirit, using the Spirit's words to explain spiritual truths. 14 But people who aren't Christians can't understand these truths from God's Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them because only those who have the Spirit can understand what the Spirit means. 15 We who have the Spirit understand these things, but others can't understand us at all. 16 How could they? For,

"Who can know what the Lord is thinking?
Who can give him counsel?"

But we can understand these things, for we have the mind of Christ. NLT
