The Daughter of Jerusalem bringing Forth a Son

The daughter of Zion seems to also be called the daughter of Jerusalem in the scriptures. I will point out some precepts that suggest that this daughter is made up of the children of Israel. The Lost Ten Tribes of Israel that have become the founders and settlers of America.

Moses prophesied that the people of Israel would be scattered among the nations and then while they are among the nations would come to know the Lord with all their heart and then the Lord would cause them to return to their home land.

Deuteronomy 30.1-3

1. And it shall come to pass when all these things are come upon thee, the blessings and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the Lord thy God hath driven thee,
2. And shalt return unto the Lord thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart and with all thine soul;

Moses is saying that while you are among the nations of the world you will come to know the Lord with all your heart and with all your soul. He also says the same thing about the children, implying that there will be more than one generation of dedicated believers. Then after this spiritual awakening, Then the Lord will turn your captivity and gather you from the nations. This is distinctly different from what we saw of the people of Judah, the Jews when they began retuning to their new nation in 1948.

3. That then the Lord thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee and will return and gather thee from all the nations whither the Lord thy God hath scattered thee.

The daughter of Zion is the church the Body of Christ the remnant of Israel, the Ten Lost Tribes. So it appears that Micah tells us that the "man-child will be born in the United States. This is the Branch of the Lord being brought forth.

Micah 4:10

10. Be in pain, and labour to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail: For now shalt thou go forrth out of the city, and thou shalt dwell in the field, and thou shalt go even to Babylon; there shalt thou be delivered; There the Lord shall redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies.

The daughter of Zion appears to be the woman who flee's into the wilderness described in the 12th chapter of Revelation.
1. We have the daughter of Zion, the ancestry of the 10 Lost Tribes.
2. The Daughter of Zion is also the Church or the Body of Christ.
3. The United States is called Political Babylon.
4. The Man-child will be born in the United States.
5. The woman is at least part of the church that will be on the earth during all of the first half of the Tribulation period.

11. Now also many nations are gathered against thee, that say let her be defiled, and let our eye look upon Jerusalem.

This reveals that the Nations will be against the church hiding in the wilderness. This evidently will be the same time that the purging of America will be taking place described in Isaiah 18.

The believers people will be trying to return to Israel as Isaiah says, Let Jerusalem come to mind at this time and the nations accordingly will be thinking of a way to destroy the people in Jerusalem.

12. But they know not the thoughts of the Lord, neither understand they his counsel: For he shall gather them as the sheaves in the floor.

The Lord will be drawing the people from through out the nation into small groups as you would sweep grain into a pile upon the floor to sweep it into a dust pan. The next verse is and encouraging word to the Believer making up the Body of Christ.

13. Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion: For I will make thine horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs brass: and thou shalt beat in peaces many people: and I will consecrate their grain unto the Lord, and their substance unto the Lord of the whole earth.

Here we see the woman who flee's into the wilderness, not just hiding and waiting for the Lord to deliver them. But the Lord tells them to rise up and fight. Their power will be like iron and their hoofs as brass. To me this means that they will have formed themselves into a military militia, to fight against their persecutors.

This seems to be the beginning of the power of the stone cut out of the mountain with out hands that will crush the other governments and will stand forever. The wealth and the substance of the nations will be gathered into the Kingdom of the Lord.

Micah 5:1

1. Now gather thyself in troops, O daughter of troops: he hath laid seige against us: They shall smite the judge of Israel with a rod upon the cheek.

This is a call for unity by the Lord telling his people to gather into troops and the Lord is going to give them power to smite the Judge of Israel. The Judge of Israel seems here to be an unrighteous judge. This may be Gog, the leader of the Russian confederacy of nations. This may be the power of Babylon, the power of Saddam Hussein who it seems may gain control of the former Soviet Union.

2. But thou Bethlehem Ephratah, Though thou be little, among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old from everlasting.

The Man-child the Branch is born from the followers and believers in Jesus Christ who was born in Bethlehem and whose goings forth are everlasting. The Man-child is coming forth and is born of the over-comers to bring forth the Kingdom and prepare it and the temple for the return of Jesus the Messiah.

3. Therefore will he give them up, until the time that she which travaileth hath brought forth: Then the remnant of his brethren shall return unto the children of Israel.

Here the scriptures is speaking of two separate people.

The remnant of his brethren shall return and be a part of the whole house of Israel, all the children of Israel. The believers join again with the Jewish people Judah and all the children of Israel are brought together again.

The Jewish people are of the tribes of Judah Benjamin and part of the tribe of Levi and are the people we call Jews. The People of Israel are not Jew's. But are still Hebrews children and the seed of Abraham. Since all non Jews are called Gentiles these people of Israel are to be included as Gentiles in New Testament scriptures.

When the Man-child is born this truth will be revealed and there will be a spiritual awakening among the people of Judah. The next verse is speaking of the Man-child.

4. And he (Man-child-Branch) shall stand and feed in the strength of the Lord, in the majesty of the name of the Lord his God; and they shall abide: for now he shall be great unto the ends of the earth.

The Branch will be abiding in the vine. Jesus Christ will be head of his body, as the entire body totally submits to the leading of the Lord to fulfill his perfect will. The entire earth will know that Jesus is the Lord and all honor and glory will be given him.

5. And this man (Man-child-Branch) shall be peace, When the Assyrian shall come into our land: when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seven shepherds and eight principal men.

This verse is being spoken by a resident of Judah and speaks of that perfect man the body of Christ coming into Jerusalem, his Branch that will be peace to the land. The defense of seven shepherds and eight principal men is a picture of the spiritual battle. Not by Mite, nor by power but by the spirit of the Lord.
