Rumor mill Reader - Jim - 10 COMMANDMENTS or is GRACE the commandments of JESUS?

In Response To: Do away with Denominationalism, labels, doctrines and even articles of Faith (GLarrabee) Question > with this new corporate anointing of unity
are you planning to toss out the ten commandments too?
especially the 4th. commandment that tell us who the creator
is? Seventh Day Sabbath or the phony devil sunday sabbath/
On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Matthew 22:

37. Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38. This is the first and great commandment.
39. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

ON these two commandments hang ALL THE LAW and the prophets. All the Law is All the Law and not just the Ceremonial Law. Verse 40 says that this fulfills all the Law and not just the ceremonial Law. All the Law means all the law. The 10 Commandments are the Law of God that was given to Moses. Whether the Lord did this with his own hand or wrote it through a prophet such as Moses makes no difference, It still came from the Lord.

40. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Since the Bible says we are saved by grace, we need to try and understand what grace is. What does God mean by Grace?

Romans 3:23,24.

23. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
24. Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.

Grace is not given to anyone who may deserve to receive it. It cannot be purchased, nor can it be earned. What can we compare with grace? Our human hearts are not hearts of grace, but are hearts of the law. God's heart however is a heart of grace.

The one that least deserves grace is the one to whom it is given. The fact that grace might be deserved or earned in any way is the factor that cancels out any concept of grace. Grace is what it is because there is not the tiniest element of merit in it.

Ephesians 2:8.

8. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.

The saving of the undeserved is grace. Being justified before God because of nothing we have done is the grace of God.

God justified us without any cause or reason. All men are placed on the same footings, so that none can be saved by doing good works of any kind. Not even the act of being baptized. All that are saved are totally undeserved of being saved, but are saved by grace.

Grace is totally undeserved, the question of deservingness or ones worthiness is totally unrelated to grace. This does not mean that there is not any need for good works after being saved, but no man is saved by works.

Ephesians 2:9

9. Not of works, lest any man should boast.

If man were saved by works he would have something to be proud of and boast of. This pride and boasting is not giving the honor and glory to God. God hates man's self life, man's self pride, self worth, and self boasting.

God's purpose is for He, Himself, to be glorified in earthen vessels. We are possessing the great treasure, Christ himself. But God will not share any of His Glory. If man were saved even 10% by works before or after salvation would allow man 10% to boast about.

Grace is not held from anyone for lack of merit. Grace is given because of man's total unworthiness, and the lack of merit will not in any way hinder God from giving grace. Quite the opposite, it is the sole condition for God to grant His grace. Can we not realize that anything of our self thinking keeps us from God's grace. Even the one who says, I am not worthy to be saved, is expressing a subtle pride that will eliminate God's grace.

Grace is boundless, mercy showing boundless goodness. In order to obtain the grace of God, you must acknowledge yourself as a helpless sinner. This alone is the qualification to receive the grace of God. Grace requires a humble act on our part. Grace compels us to agree that we are the worst of sinners.

Pride does not allow anyone to accept salvation by grace, as a free gift of God. Our uselessness must be admitted before we can receive the grace of God.

Before God all are the same, and all may have His grace. God will not with-hold grace because of man's unworthiness, and will not give less grace to those who sin more, and more grace to those who sin less. For grace is not used by God to mend the holes of sinners. Both the sinner and his works are completely set aside in the reality of grace.

Grace does not make the recipient a debtor to God and is neither given as wages according to ones works. Grace is not a loan to be paid back later. Grace charges nothing, past, present, or future.

Romans 6:23.

23. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

How many there are who do not understand the grace of God clearly. Some believe that they themselves are unworthy and believe God is willing to save them. But after salvation they believe they must do good or God will withdraw His salvation. Such a concept plainly distorts the grace of God.

When we are saved God gives us eternal life, yet He never asks us to pay back installments. He will never take His salvation back even if we perform no good deeds. Grace never changes anything or it would no be grace at all. The gifts of God are given without repentence and never will be taken back.

Romans 11:29.

29. For the gifts and callings of God are without repentance.

Sin reigns by itself, but grace reigns through righteousness. In other words, grace reigns only through Christ, our righteousness. God is not only the only one who has grace, He is also the only source of righteousness. Grace is given to us by God because the problem of sin was solved by the Lord Jesus at Calvary.

A sinner is reckoned as such because:
1. His nature is corrupt.
2. His conduct is bad.
3. He is judged by God's righteousness.

To save us as sinners according to his own just standard, God must solve these three problems. He must;
1. He must forgive the sinner of his bad conduct.
2. He must re-generate man by giving him a new life.
3. He must justify his own righteous judgment.

Sin is forgiven by believing in what Christ has already done on the cross.

Because of God's righteousness all sins must be forgiven. For those that have previously accepted the salvation of Christ Jesus on the cross, that sin offering has already been paid through the death of Christ on the cross.

After salvation, when a believer sins he receives forgiveness by confessing his own sin. Confession is the act of humbly agreeing with the Holy Spirit's conviction that a sin has been committed. It is not the act of asking for forgiveness, but the act of confession. After confession the word of God promises the forgiveness of God.

1 John 1:9.

9. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleans us from all unrighteousness.

This verse does not say we ask for forgiveness, but we must confess for Christ has already paid the price for that sin and it has already been covered by the blood of Christ, but the lack of confession causes the fellowship of God to be broken, but it does not change the fact that Christ has already died for these sins.

The moment one receives salvation, by accepting the free gift of God’s Grace, by accepting the giver of Grace, Jesus Christ, many things happen at that very moment and never change.

1. From that very moment Christ in the form of his Spirit enters into your life and this is a joining of our spirit with the Holy Spirit of God. Our spirit and the Holy Spirit at that time become one in Christ as Christ is one with the Father and it seems that the Holy Spirit uses our spirit as a carrier or an entrance into being a part of our being or soul. The connection is made for us to have an extra line of communication with God through our intuitive sensitivity to hearing the voice of God through our own thoughts and emotions. The Holly Spirit using our spirit as a carrier is able to access every part of our lives.

The mind is part of the soul or ego or self that is very reluctant to give up control. and there is a constant war between the mind and Spirit. The thoughts coming from the Spiirit are from the heart in the still small voice of our intuition and inner most feelings. The mind or ego tries to keep in control and this results in thoughts of doubt and that it is of our imagination.

2. All our sins are forgiven. All our sins means all our past sins, all our present sins and all the future sins, even those that have not yet taken place. All our sins as far as salvation are already forgiven.

1 Corinthians 6:12 All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.

This does not mean that we do not sin or become Carnal, it only means that as far as our salvation our sins are under the blood of Jesus Christ. Sin breaks our fellowship and grieves the Holy Spirit. Although these sins are already covered by the blood of Christ and forgiven we have fallen from Grace in that we no longer have unrestricted communion with Christ through his Holy Spirit because of this sin barrier. The act of opening up this communion and entering back into Grace is the act of confessing the sins the Holy Spirit convicts us of when we turn our hearts toward the Lord.

3. We receive eternal life from the very moment that Christ through his Spirit enters our Spirit. This eternal life is not the eternal life of our fleshly bodies, but the eternal life of our Spiritual man that is no longer under the influence of the Flesh, the World or Satan. All things become new to the Spiritual man. Even though we are in the Flesh we are being led and live our lives in the spirit when we abide in Christ, this is through total submission to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

When we are tempted and enter back into being carnal we don’t lose our salvation or position, but lose our communion and act like all the rest of the people who have never known Christ we have fallen from Grace. Yet our Spirit is still part of God’s Holy Spirit. Our mind is in total control ego and self righteousness will not allow the Lord our righteousness to be in control.

The difference between salvation and being a part of the Kingdom.

After salvation Christ Jesus becomes our advocate before the Father, regardless of whether we have confessed or repented of our sins. Continual sin will cause God to take His hands off of us and will give satan freedom to operate in that life.

But the faithful and righteous Christ is still our righteousness before the Father.

The Lord himself is Our Righteousness. We do not become righteous in the flesh or though anything of self. If we think we are actually righteous we are guilty of self-righteousness or pride. This is a statement of being in the flesh, mans conception of being religious.

We have entered into grace and we are set free from the bondage of sin by Christ Jesus, but because we have failed to confess our sins, we re-enter into the yoke of bondage and fall from grace.

Moving from the place of freedom into the place of bondage is the act of falling from grace.

Yet this is not a question of ones salvation because he has already been saved. When we were saved God accepted us because the work of Christ and not because of our works. Our salvation is always based on what Christ is before God the Father, and at no time after salvation is it based on what we are before God.

When we are free in Christ we forget about ourselves, knowing we can boldly enter into the most holy place by the blood of Jesus Christ.

Un-confessed sin brings upon ourselves feelings of guilt, and guilt causes us to take our eyes off Christ and we look inward, we look at ourselves. We forget what Christ has already accomplished, the only thing we think of is guilt, how unworthy we are and how displeased God must be with us.

The freedom we had in Christ is lost, but this freedom is not a position and has nothing to do with salvation, nor is it the freedom to do anything one wishes. The freedom in Christ is daily enjoyed; daily freedom in grace by the blood of Jesus Christ.

If a person comes before God and forgets the blood and looks at himself he commits a great sin because he neglects the blood which God highly values. Anyone who looks at himself, who fails to look at the precious blood before God will lose the enjoyment of grace in his life.

Falling from grace means not having the blessings of this life. If one falls from grace he does not know how to live daily by what Christ has accomplished. He lives as a slave when he could be living as a free man before God.

The position which Christ has given us before God the Father is most secure. Once cleansed by the blood of Christ we are forever free before God.

We are free from the Law of condemnation and free of all the Law which was a for-shadow of the things to come through Christ offering himself to satisfy the Law for us in Grace.

Once our self life has met death it will never rise again. All that is left after the cross is the resurrected life of Christ within us. Experiencing this wound, we will never again boast of ourselves and our abilities.

Christ is the LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS the sum of all spiritual powers and gifts. He has not given us a righteousness. Christ is our righteousness. Of all of God's gifts there is only one gift that is the source of all gifts, Christ Jesus. The Gift and the giver are one. Christ is God's gift, as well as He is the Lord, who gives the gift.

God's end is Christ, and God's way is Christ. It is through Christ to Christ. Christ is all, and in all. God's end is to let Christ be first in all things. Christ is our wisdom and understanding. Christ is our counsel and might, Christ is our knowledge and fear of the Lord. Christ is our understanding and judgment. The Lord Jesus Christ is our righteousness.

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE SOUL, or being led by the mind rather than the Spirit of God.

The soulish believe that whatever they believe and know mentally is the same as possessing experientially. This is a tremendous deception.

They hold tenatisitishly to their opinions. These believers deem themselves most spiritual, not recognizing how soulish they actually are.

This presents a great obstacle to entering a wholly spiritual realm because they are controlled so completely by their emotions and their own ego.

Carnal believers may be long on so called spiritual knowledge but usually are short on experience. They hear and understand the teaching and dividing of the soul and spirit, but they set about discerning and dissecting the soulish thoughts of others.

A common practice among the soulish is to criticize. They have the souls capacity to receive knowledge, but lack the spiritual capacity to be humble. It is common for them to think that they have a special knowledge and judge others and their beliefs. They tend to be so set in their ways that they judge everything according to what thy have already determined and they will not accept any scripture or proof of any kind. Their stubborness has made them un-teachable to the point that they are fulfilling the word of Jesus when he said that stubborness is worse than Witchcraft.

Believers who thrive on the soul life are very proud. This is because they make self the center. However much they may try to give the glory to God and acknowledge the grace of God, they have their minds set upon self.

They have not yet lost themselves to God. Nevertheless, they regard themselves more humble than the rest. Spiritual pride is deeply bred to their very bone.

The soulish are second to none in the matter of works. They are most active and zealous, and willing. But they do not labor because they have received God's order. They labor instead because they have zeal and the capacity to do.

These individuals have neither the heart to trust nor the time to wait. They never sincerely seek the will of God. They labor according to their own ideas, having a creative mind teaming with schemes and plans.

The tendency to be hasty often marks those who follow their souls. They cannot wait on God.

They have not discovered how to see the end of the matter through the eyes of faith. To them working for the Lord is of supreme importance, but often they forget the Lord who gives the work. The Lord's work becomes the center instead of the Lord being the center of the work.

As I write this I also confess to being soulish in my spiritual growth and have lived many of the examples that I have expressed. This is a process of spiritual growth that many of us are going through.

They feel that the 10 commandments are a part of grace and can’t comprehend that all the Law was nailed to the cross through the forgiveness we received though the blood sacrifice of being washed in the blood of Christ at Calvary. Christ had us in him at Calvary and we died with him and were resurrected with him.

Romans 6:
1. What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
2. God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
3. Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4. Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
6. Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

The old man is our ego or self life in the flesh, our self life controlled by the mind rather than being led by the Spirit of God.

7. For he that is dead is freed from sin.

We are also dead because we were in Christ as he died. We were also in Christ as he was resurrected and are free from the life in the flesh. We are not experiencing this freedom from sin due to our falling from Grace back into the life of the flesh being controlled by our ego or mind.

8. Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
9. Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.

Like wise we were also raised from the dead in Christ and death has no more dominion over the Spirit regenerated by the Holy Spirit and lives eternally.

10. For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
11. Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

All the Law was done away with, and all the Law was nailed to the Cross. Where is one scripture that states it was only the sacrificial Law? Many people are being led astray by the doctrines of men.

1. Jesus gave us a new commandment that will show that we are his disciples.

John 13:34. A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
35. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

2.If we keep his commandments and abide in his love means that we let Christ live his life through us as we abide in him. Abiding in him is submitting our total wills to his will.

John 15:
10. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
11. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

3. If we love others as our selves and love them as Christ loved us we should lay something down in sacrifice when we see friends and brothers in need.

John 15:
12. This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
13. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
14. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
15. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

4. We are to be Fruit bearers. God has chosen us to live his life through us as we abide in him by giving up our wills for his will. At that point our desires become his desires and we want and pray only for God’s perfect will to be done in spite of everything else. What ever we ask of the father in the name of Jesus abiding in Jesus will be given us. The Commandment is that we love one another.

John 15:
16. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
17. These things I command you, that ye love one another.

5. Jesus was ask by a Lawyer about the Law and responded by stating that with all thy heart, with all thy soul and with all thy mind. The meaning of mind is self will and the Lord is saying give me all your love and even your total will.

Matthew 22:
35. Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,
36. Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37. Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

The Transgressions of the People of God. Worshipping God in the way that seems right to man.

Isaiah 58
1. Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.
2. Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways, as a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their God: they ask of me the ordinances of justice; they take delight in approaching to God.
3. Wherefore have we fasted, say they, and thou seest not? wherefore have we afflicted our soul, and thou takest no knowledge? Behold, in the day of your fast ye find pleasure, and exact all your labours.
4. Behold, ye fast for strife and debate, and to smite with the fist of wickedness: ye shall not fast as ye do this day, to make your voice to be heard on high.
5. Is it such a fast that I have chosen? a day for a man to afflict his soul? is it to bow down his head as a bulrush, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him? wilt thou call this a fast, and an acceptable day to the LORD?

6. Grace is freedom from the Law, and Isaiah prophecies the burdens and bonds of wickedness are to free from every yoke of bondage. It is summed up in charity and the righteousness of loving and treating your neighbor as yourself. The Lord seems to be speaking through Isaiah saying that this is the way that the kingdom will be brought forth on the earth. The repairer of the breach and rebuilding the old places is a part of bringing forth the Kingdom of God on earth.

Isaiah 58:

6. Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?
7. Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?
8. Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rereward.
9. Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;
10. And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noon day:
11. And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.

The goal of this generation is to restore the broken hearted and raise up the poor.

12. And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.

The Sabbath Day is Saturday the 7th day of the week and no one should say that they are worshipping the first day of the week as the Sabbath day. Saturday is the only day that is or ever will be the Sabbath.

The Day of the Lord is spoken of in Prophecy as that time period that we are entering into when the Lord brings forth His Kingdom, the bringing forth the Kingdom of God.

The Lords Day and the Day of the Lord in scripture have a total different meaning.

7. The Sabbath Day is the Day that is to do God’s will and not your own will. The Sabbath is a day of giving up; ones will to server the Lord and seems to be a sign for-shadowing the 7th 1,000 year period or the 7th day millennium of the Kingdom coming forth in this generation.

Not just the 7th day, Let every day be the Sabbath day for this generation.

Isaiah 58:
13. If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:

8. The Sabbath is the Day to Praise and delight in the Lord. The Sabbath Day is a Holy Day unto the Lord that was spoken to the heritage of Jacob the people of Israel. A day to honor the Lord. The Sabbath is a day of not doing thine own ways in this sense seems to have a meaning that may be deeper than some have understood. It has the meaning of letting the Lord lead rather than the meaning of not doing work or ones own desires. Not finding thine own pleasure seems to imply a greater pleasure of being in the Spirit or presence of the Lord. Nor Speaking thine own words implies that the Lord will be speaking and we will be able to speak his words, by listening to the Holy Spirit.

God’s remnant people.

Isaiah 28:

5. In that day shall the LORD of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people,
6. And for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate.

Other Religious leaders have erred in vision and judgment. We are all warned about judging each others religion or belief. From verse 7 and 8 we see that some churches have become social clubs.

7. But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.
8. For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.

Now the question rises who shall he teach knowledge and who will he make to understand doctrine. Today we have one Bible that all Christian beliefs say they believe in and follow. Yet we have man doctrines of faith. We have Mormon doctrine, Catholic doctrine, Baptist doctrine, Penticostal doctrine, Church of Christ doctrine, Nazarene doctrine, Seventh Day Adventist Doctrine, Jahova Witness doctrine and many others within Christianity.

9. Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.

The Lord implies that there is a much deeper knowledge that one is able to gain when one is drawn from the basic milk or nourishment and digs into a deeper understanding of the meat of the word. This is not saying the milk is bad it is just saying there is something much deeper than the salvation message or about which is the right doctrine according to men. The Lord through Isaiah tells us how to get into this greater understanding and that is through precepts or ideas that come from going from precept to precept, precept to precept through the words of 30 authors and the 66 books making up the Bible. Precept upon precept is the taking of pieces a putting them together as we put the pieces of a puzzle to gether to reveal a picture not seen unless all the pieces are properly put together. People of this generation seem to be putting pieces together that have been mysteries for many generations.

10. For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

In this next verse we see something different than the study of the word. We know hear the Lord speaking through stammering lips and another tongue. We have to my knowledge no such thing happening in scriptior prior to Pentacost when the people were baptized by the Holy Spirit after waiting many days for the comforter to be sent from heaven by the Lord.

11. For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.
12. To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.

The speaking with stammering lips and other tongues is a rest and a refreshing. In other words the Lord is saying, It is something wonderful. Yet they would not hear. I’m afraid that this has been fulfilled in the generation that I live.

I believe the meaning from what we read in this next verse that the Lord has a deeper word that is understood only when we are drawn from the milk of the word.
In Prophecies of the Bible as well as individual prophetic utterances the Lord only speaks in part. His way is not to give you the whole picture at once but only a small piece or precept. So the utterances and Prophecies come precept upon precept a little bit here and little bit there just like the word of the Lord is to be understood.

13. But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.
14. Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem.

The First and Second Great Commandments.

9. Loving the Lord with all thine heart and sole is letting the Lord Live his life through your life in total submission. The First and Great Commandment: Love the Lord with all your body soul and spirit. The Second Great Commandment is to Love thy Neighbor as thyself.

What good thing must I do to have eternal life?

Matthew 19:

16. And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?

What is Eternal Life? The definition of ETERNAL: Lasting forever; withoutbeginning or end; perpetual; ceaseless; endless; outside of all relations of time; not subject to change.

The Soul is eternal wiithout beginning or end. We came from God as if God made a part of himself into trillions of parts and called them living beings. From one to many children of God.

17. And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

The commandments Jesus quotes do not include the 4th commandment of keeping the Sabbath day. Why? I believe it was because he knew that his resurection day would be known as the Lord’s Day.

18. He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,
19. Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
20. The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?
21. Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.

Jesus ends by relating the meaning of loving your neighbor as your self is demonstrated by sharing prosperity with the needy. The conversion of temporary prosperity to eternal prosperity.

Luke
25. And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?

10. The Law to receive Eternal Life is to Love The Lord thy God with all thy heart, with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind, and thy neighbor as thyself. The 10 Commandments are a forshadow and are fulfilled in the two Laws of total love and dedication to the Lord and Loving your neighbor as you love your self. The Lord is asking each of us to be our “Brothers keepers”.
11. All the law is fulfilled in treating others as you would want then to treat you. With Love Integrity and generosity.

26. He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?
27. And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
28. And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.
29. But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour?

Notice in this example it is not the most honored in the family of God showing the Love and compassion for a stranger but the foreigner and stranger someone outside the family of God. It is sad to say that this is the usual reaction of believers to believer and family to other family members of this generation.

30. And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.
31. And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
32. And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.
33. But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,
34. And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
35. And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.

This is the story of the righteousness of God being manifested through an individual, and loving his neighbor as he loves himself. This is not an emotional love or feeling as much as it as a love of faith and commitment to letting Christ love others through us as individuals.

36. Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?
37. And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.

When the Bible says that the dead know nothing there is a much deeper meaning than the Physical dead whose bodies are in the graves. This same wording is used concerning spiritual things. The Spiritual dead do not know anything about the Spiritual realities.

There is also the death that gives us freedom through faith, that is the being dead to the Law that was nailed to the cross. If not properly understood one can miss this freedom and be back in bondage, as fallen from Grace.

We are Dead To the Law. When Paul is speaking of the Law he is not saying only the ceremonial Law but the Law as he speaks of it should be understood the entire order of Law. There is either Law or no Law is neither partial Law nor partial Grace. One is totally bound or totally fee. One replaces the other.

Romans 7

4. Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.
5. For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.
6. But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

Ephesians 2:
13. But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

9. The barrier between the Law and Grace is the Testament or inheritance of the death of our savior for each one of us. We are no longer bound to keep the Law but are to be led by the Spirit of God.

2 Corinthians 3:

6. Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: For the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.

Ephesians 2:

14. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

10. The Plan of God is to make himself a new man. Anew body of believers that he can live his life in. It is like the lord has made himself into many pieces to be able to be a part of the life, adoration, love and experiences of each of his many membered body.

The Law done away with all fleshly things in exchange for spiritual things, even the Law of commandments contained in ordances. The new man is th aperfect man of Ephesians 4: 11-13 and/or the Branch of the Old Testament described in Isaiah 11:1-5. They are both one and the same.

Ephesians 2:

15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
16. And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
17. And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.
18. For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
19. Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow-citizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
20. And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
21. In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
22. In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

Galations 5:

1. Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
2. Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.
3. For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.
4. Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
5. For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
6. For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

This is a prophecy that I received by e-mail today the 27 day of march 2002 that seems to summarise a lot of what ha I been trying to say in may words and scripture verses.

by Hugh Molanders JR
Be Attune
The Lord has said... "You must be in tune to My Voice and My Spirit. Stay in your closet that you may know My Will. "For many are here and many more are coming that will prophesy falsely in My Name. They do not speak for Me, but only out of their flesh. If you are not attune to My Spirit you will walk astray of My Will. Seek and Ask that I give to you My Keen Discernment and My Wisdom. For satan shall increase his influence upon those that are blind to Me. He shall attempt with greater force to sway the Body of Christ to seek after their own flesh. They shall perceive they are doing for Me, yet it will only be of the flesh. They know not of the things of My Spirit for they have not been anointed in My Spirit. Therefore they can not speak in the Spirit nor speak of the Spirit, for My anointing is not upon them. "There are many speaking of My blessings to come. My blessings are waiting to be poured out upon My children of Righteousness. This is true. Yet you must realize that with these blessings I am getting ready to pour out upon you, come great responsibilities. Know also that with these blessings come greater attacks from satan. For he knows that his time is short. Yet I will see that My true remnant shall prevail through these attacks. Yes the attacks will increase. Yet remain steadfast in Me and I shall see you through. For no weapon formed against you shall prosper. Look not at what you see, but dwell only upon Me. You must discern My word and My word alone. "There are many voices that will come up against you, both in the world and in the church. Yet only the true Church, the true remnant will be able to discern My voice. They will not hear you nor will they understand you. For they have not My heart nor My Spirit upon them. There are many false witnesses that desire to see you fall. They are not Attune to Me. For they follow after the spirit of the flesh. They refuse to yield to Me. They refuse to yield to My Spirit and to become intimate with Me. For only in being intimate with Me will you discern My voice and know My heart intimately. If that is your true desire, I am waiting to pour out My Spirit upon you in ways you have not known before. Yet the price for this intimate relationship with Me will cost you all of yourself. Through this intimate love with Me will you come to true peace and victory. Not many are willing to pay the price. That is why many are called, but only few are chosen. Your only goal should be to seek and follow after the Son. My only Son Jesus. That is and should be your only desire. Seek Him and you shall find the kingdom. For Jesus is the kingdom. I am truly not complicated, My children. I am not a mystery at all. Only seek and you shall know. This is the time to seek as never before. I am desiring a more intimate walk between us. For I am you Father and I formed you and placed you here for My desire and not your own. But you must be willing to yield all to Me. All of yourself to Me. I say again, ALL OF YOURSELF MUST BE YIELDED TO ME. Your heart must be yielded to My desire and will for your Life. Yield to Me, My children, that I may bring you closer to Me. "For the time is coming, and I will woo you no more."

When God finally restores His last day church to even more glory, than that of the early church, the Jew will once again have the liberty to observe his feasts and ordinances, and the Gentiles will have the liberty to disregard the law of Moses.

Neither Jew nor Gentile should be cut off from the root (Jesus) and source of blessing that comes upon us all from the seed of Abraham. In these last days it is becoming evident to the Church that Christ will again manifest the wonderful word of the cross that made both Jews and Gentiles to be one growing church where both will have the liberty of worshiping and being a part of future temple worship in Jerusalem.

What can you say to someone who does not believe in God?

Posted By: GLarrabee
Date: Monday, 8 October 2007, 11:39 p.m. So You Say There is No God?

Whether there is a God or not does not even need to be answered in the Bible since the Bible takes for granted that men must believe in God. Because man has no reason not to believe there is a God.

Today in this world there is a class of people who consider themselves atheists. They say there is no God and they don't acknowledge that there is a God that rules over all things.

Such a belief seems to be popular among certain professions and these days and is welcomed by a large number of highly educated people.

It seems to me some people are atheists for moral reasons. They profess to be atheists not because they have convincing evidence that there is no God. They are atheists because their lives are such that it is convenient for them to say there is no God. The Bible refers to this as a type of strong hold

There own moral condition keeps them from acknowledging that there is a God in the heavens and the earth. They look at evidences such as after death experiences caused by something different than what seems to a believer of strong evidence of a person getting a glimpse of heaven. I am convinced that they really don't sincerely believe there is no God, but it is a simply that their own lives impel them not to accept these things at their face value.

They fail to believe in God not because they have good reason to do so, but simply because of sin's hold on them that becomes a stronghold that controls there life. Their multitude of sins hinders them from believing. So for this reason they are compelled to be atheists.

If they would simply stop doing the unmoral things and begin to live morally, God would immediately return.

It is also true if the influence of God goes out of a person immorality takes his place in that person’s life.

There are other people who are atheists for intellectual reasons. They are those who are open to reason. If you can prove to them with sufficient evidence, then they are willing to accept your premise of God's existence. For such people there is the need of some reasoning which has value.

We must ask these questions of Atheists, if you are an atheist I would like to hear form you
.
1. Who are you who dare’s to say there is no God?
2. According to your own estimate, do you honestly believe you have the qualifications to decide whether God exists?
3. What makes you so qualified to make such a statement? Could Rebellion be a cause? Of the billions of people on this earth who believe in God, what gives you the qualifications to say there is no God?
4. By what means have you become an authority on the question of God? Do you have any evidence there is no God? How does your evidence stack up against the evidence of all types that there is a God?

Do you know even about the things you are in contact with each day? Have you ever sensed the inner heart felt spirit of man?

Throughout the universe there are things within it so small that even a micro-scope cannot detect them. But no matter how microscopic they are each of them has its definite order.

6. If there is no God How did their intricate designs come about? How could they could they have been made so precisely and accurately?

There must be a God who designs and rules otherwise such beautiful phenomena could never have happened by accident.

Only two explanations are possible.

1. They either came about by design.
2. Or they came about by accident.

If not by accident they must have come into existence through a designer who designed them. And if not by creation was not by design, but by accident, how was evolution directed in such a way to create all things in heaven and on earth as they are? By accident?

7. Do you really say this happened by accident?

What we have discussed to this point are merely external approaches to presenting evidence that God exists. Now let us ask the question from another angle. Judging from human reasoning.

I have read that in the 1920's The National Geographic Society sent people to many countries to study Human Society and Geography, and the results of their findings was then published.

Throughout every society whether civilized or barbarous, whether progressive of regressive there was one trait which was common to all. They all believed that a God existed.

A person can be so dull as not to be able to think or reason, yet his heart will tell him there is a God.

A remarkable incident occurred in South America in 1925.

One day a missionary passed by a forest and suddenly heard a cry for help. He rushed towards the sound of the voice and came to the side of a river. He saw a man in a canoe being swept down steam. The current was swift, and not far away the missionary could see a waterfall.

If not rescued this man would certainly be overwhelmed by the waterfall. At that critical moment the man in the canoe cried with all his strength. Oh God. Oh God. Save me. Save Me. The missionary quickly sized up the situation and successfully rescued the man.

On the very next day, the missionary was again passing through this forest. But this time he saw hundreds of people gathered by the riverside listening to a lecture. He went forward to learn what it was about.

There a man was speaking publicly on the subject of God. In his lecture he had numerous arguments to prove the non existence of God.

After he finished speaking, he challenged the audience by saying, I have given you many reasons. If anyone believes otherwise and wishes to argue, He may do so.

The missionary stepped onto the platform and spoke.

I do not know how to argue. Nor am I going to give any reasons, instead, I will tell you a true story.

Yesterday when I passed through the forest I heard a man crying for help, and he was heard repeatedly crying out. Oh God. Oh God. Save me. Save me.

I ran toward the sound and found a man sitting in a canoe, drifting rapidly towards the waterfall below. He was in terrible danger. I instantly rescued him and then sent him home.

Let me introduce you to that man.

The one who yesterday cried desperately, O God, Oh God, Save Me. Save Me, is the very person who today has been presenting to you many so-called reasons for proving that there is no God. Whether what I said is true or not, you, ask him.

The conscience of many people is such that before it is awakened they can raise many arguments against the existence of God. But when they are dying or are in a very dangerous situation, they will contemplate future consequences, and their conscience will tell them that God does exist.

The day you find yourself heading for eternity your conscience will wake up and speak. Your conscience may slumber but it never sleeps.

I want to say to you if you are an atheist that I truly don’t think there is much time before horrific events will take from 1/4th to 1/3rd of the world’s population. I am asking you do you really want to go into eternity believing there is no God?

There is no born atheist, you are an atheist because this belief has been instead is created by your environment.

Look at people of God, do you see the special quality of the true believer, I am not taking about some who are carnal in there beliefs. True believers in God should be regarded as those who know God the most. Look at the evidence that believers have.
1. Totally changed lives.
2. Restored marriages.
3. Instantaneous healings of all types.
4. Testimonies of signs and wonders, and miracles.
5. Revelation of words of knowledge
6. Prophecies, the knowing of things in advance.
7. Peace within even at the point of death.

It is simply a point of believing.

Prove to me that there is no God by sincerely asking God to reveal himself to you, promising that if he does you will become a believer.

Then within the next 12 months, in one year come back and give me a truthful testimony, and then tell me the evidence either way of what has been revealed to you.

Thank you for taking the time to read this! If you have any doubts about God, let's talk and at least be open to me trying to cocvince you there is a God. Send me an e-mail.

In Response To: What can you say to someone who does not believe in God? (GLarrabee) ***************************************************************************

Re: What can you say to someone who does not b....

Hi. I've been reading your articles and postings of late and have found much that interests me. Even things that I might disagree with, or have a differing perspective on.

Out of the blue, very recently, someone asked me if I believe in God. The question was framed just like that: "Hey Scott. Do you believe in God?"

I'm a thoughtful person and I took the question seriously. I thought about it. For a few quiet minutes.

The only thing that came into my mind was to look this person straight in the eye and ask them this question: "Whose God?"

And that is the problem with asking someone that initial question. If someone adheres to a particular faith, than all they are really asking is "Do you believe in MY God?"

***************************************************************************

Hi Scott,

Thank you so much for responding to me by e-mail. I believe there is a devine connection of me posting that particular article, you being ask that question whether you believed in God, reading my post on RMN and respondiong to me by e-mail. There is a devine timing that takes place. That is the way God works. He knows how to get the persons that will connect with each other together.

More than a particular Faith. You can and God wants you to have a very personal relationship with him.

Spiritual communication is like telepathy. God know your thoughts, and knew what you are thinking this very moment, he knew this even before he created the earth. That is what I know and beleive from my personal relationship with God.

God loves you Scott, a thousand times more than you love the person you would give your own life for. God also knows you much better than you know yourself. God knew you before you were even born. You were sent to earth for a work to do for the Lord.

In the spiritual realm, the forces of evil also have for-knowledge and they know the ones they need to work on the most to keep them from turning there life and even there will to do God's will. So the events and contacts and problems in you life have been orchestrated by spiritual beings that have been battling over you, all your life.

The forces of evil act like bullies and deal with pressure, anger, fear, sex, pride, lusts and etc. But God does not operate that way he has you in the palm of his hand and protects you even when you thenk he is not doing so. He never forces his way into your life or thoughts, but he is always in perfect control.

The example of the devine connections described above is God's way of being the perfect gentleman and not pushing himself upon you. When you are ready his is there at the exact time needed, the perfect time that God only knows.

Start communicating with God on a very personal level. You can do this just by your thoughts. When you are by your self and you want an answer from God ask him to answer you, then sit silently and praise the Lord. You might tell him you want to know him better and if he has a plan for your life you want to have the will to do his perfect will, even if you don't feel that way right now tell him you want to feel that way some time. Tell him you don't want to be phoney and want only to know the truth.

When I was where you are today. I told him I did not want to be come a phony believer, or phony christian. I told him I did not want to be come a Christian unless I could be the best. I then told him I knew I could not do that. When I did prayed and ask God into my heart and did not tell anyone, althouth it would have been much better and easier for me if I had, becasue when you state something to some one, it is more of a commitment and that is needed.

Start reading your Bible, and know that everything you read that Jesus did for some one he will do that and more for you. Start in the Book of John. So read the Bible like God is talking to you, because he is on a very personal level. Don't let anyone convince you otherwise.

The Bible is God's word and it is a living word and very much alive. But you have to believe it is a living word or it will not be the same. You will find your self wondering about something or asking questions and God will direct you to the answer through his living word of the Bible. But first you must Believe this will happen and then trust God.

Just Try it!

HEAVEN THE PLACE PREPARED FOR SINNERS (This is the plan of salvation, don't let anyone convince you that it is to simple or that is not he way) Read it over and over until it makes snse to you.
